Psalm 7:9
O righteous God, who searches minds and hearts, bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure.
Personal Insights:
One of the test in life that is hard to past is the test in life like testing attitude and emotion. When there are tendencies to fight or have an argument. As a human, i find hard to always be calm at all times, but when we think about that God restores peace and peace is better than anger and strife. It is better not to talk and just walk away. That is an example of passing lifes’ test.. to pass an undesirable act by adjusting ones self to be in a positive manner.

Personal Insight:
make the decision to forgive is the hardest thing to do if based only from flesh or own desire. But as God forgives us, so do we forgive. And through forgiveness, our hearts will feel free and we will have peace and will be blest!

Take God Out of the “Emergency Only” Box!
1 Corinthians 3:16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you.
Insight: Emergency Box is when calling God in a desperate move type or such a way that He is the last resort. God is always there for us to be a loving father and a friend at all times. We must take Him out of the box to fill His love. Get close to Him through Bible reading and Prayer

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Personal Insight:
Waiting in the Lord brings patience into practice. What does it means to wait… It is by praying and asking God to guide us in our decisions in our daily walk. It is “hearing from God”. How do we know if we hear from God ? It is if we wait…
When we wait, we don’t hurry up decisions because we make decisions according on how he wants us to not on how we want it to be. Strength is also found in waiting. When we had a problem that we need to solve but find it difficult to do, we wait for clear answer by meditating on things but let us balance our decision if it is just wisdom on ourselves only or wisdom coming from the Lord.

Psalm 40:12
For troubles without number surround me; my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see. They are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails within me.
Personal Insight:
Sometimes, we feel being unfavored and we do not deserve what we get. In this situation, what we do is to pay the favor.
For Instance, a student who is a christian and loves God and then become a lukewarm christian or a backslider, had the favor of being included in the deans list inspite of being an irresponsible christian, like not attending church services, having vices, being disobedient. When this student learned about her accomplishment, she was so happy and to her gladness, she recalled to praise God and thank God. However, she felt guilt and conscience that she really do not deserve that favor. To her guilt, what she did is to always attend church services wherein she thought that by doing so, she would be worth of the favor from God and that she is paying back the favor. That kind of thinking doesn’t produce an attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving. She made it like a payment for services rendered.
We need to encourage and remind ourselves to open our hearts to the Lord and allow God’s grace to come to us and for us to feel His presence in everyday of our life. Let us learn to let God do us an unmerited favor and always praise Him with a thankful heart.

Understand Grace, Walk in Faith
Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–
Personal Insight:
When you understand grace, you can walk in faith and receive God’s blessings. God’s grace isn’t complicated or confusing. It is simple, and that’s why many people miss it. However, everything in our life still depends on our works and abilities and our choice. We must have wisdom in everything we do and ask God;s guidance. Let us not rely that even if we fail or sin there is grace and unmerited favor. Let us not abuse this grace that God gives but instead , let us walk by faith and through our actions God will bless us more and we will be a blessing to others.

Psalm 46:11 The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Insights:
We all experience insecurities, it happens usually when there is low self esteem and rejection. When we are rejected or not approved by others, we feel less worth, less love and we struggle. But the truth is we must have peace because as God’s children, we should be proud that HE loves us though we are unworthy of our sin, and because of this, let us always remember that we are of value and importance. Be confident, mature and focus that God is our strength and refuge.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Insights:
Being unpeaceful is being hard to listen to God’s voice. Devil always finds a way to steal peace . The practice of turning things into positive ways will make us peaceful and His plans will be revealed to us. Let us remain rooted to God.
